Yesterday I went to one of my favorite restaurants for lunch, Anthony’s Creative Italian Cuisine, located in Haddon Heights, NJ. Anthony’s provides price fixed menus for lunch and dinner as well as their normal a la carte menu. The menu options for the fixed menu is numerous and the portions are ample, some establishments that have fixed menu pricing give tasting menu portions with limited options to choose from.
The fixed lunch menu is 2 courses for $11 (appetizer and entrée) and you can add a dessert for $3.75. The fixed dinner menu is 3 courses for $25 (appetizer, entrée, and dessert). With both menus there may be an additional $2-$4 charge depending on your selection; for example the is an additional $2.50 charge for their crab bisque soup but trust me it is worth it. Their crab bisque soup is the best crab soup I have ever had, it is creamy with chunks of crab meat.
The restaurant is a BYOB which is even more cost-effective. A glass of wine at a restaurant can range from $8-$12, total markup, especially when you consider you could have purchased a bottle for $8-$12. My preference whenever dinning out is BYOB, much more cost-effective. Why spend a lot when you can get the same great quality and experience for less.
Anthony’s service is excellent and suitable for almost any occasion such as a romantic night out, spending time with friends, or celebrating an occasion. The restaurant is two stories with street parking as well as a shared parking lot in the back.
If you are looking for restaurant with an intimate setting, delicious meals, ample portions, and consistently great service, I highly recommend Anthony’s.
