I had the opportunity to travel to Mullica Hill, NJ for an afternoon of tea at Amelia’s Teas and Holly with 2 good friends.   The women that work here greet you with warmth, love, pride and genuine hospitality. The tea house is in a house that has been converted into a tea house with several rooms that are used to display merchandise, seat guest, and the preparation of tea and food.

There are 3 adult menus to select from and 1 child menu, all reasonably priced. The 3 adult menus provide an option of how much you want to partake in. We each selected the Queen’s Tea menu which gave each of us assorted tea sandwiches, delicious freshly baked scone, soup, mini quiche, mini sweets, and tea of your selection.  Everything was delicious and more than enough food for the minimal cost.

The tea house is décor includes beautiful tea cups, pots, mini women’s hats, wedding gowns and Christmas decorations.  Some may say the place is a little dated however I think it adds to the charm of the establishment, I would not change a thing about it.

This is a small town filled with local farmers markets along the roadside, which we took advantage of.  I would love to visit this town at Christmas, my guest is that it is decked out with all the glitz and glam of Christmas deocrations and great cheer!  I would suggest for anyone that is looking to visit the tea house to bring additional money to patronize some of the local farmers markets and other stores in the local vicinity.
